Yo!
It had been a pretty shag week...could feel the tempo of the training beginning to increase.I remembered on thursday,I did 10 Basic Exercise followed by a 7km run...follow which we went for a 2 day 1 night field camp orientation trip around the mandai area....we had to carry our field pack which so darn heavy.When we reached the forested area,we learnt how to build basha and stuff,but we travel from point to point with our Standard Battle Order (SBO) , Field Pack and Rifle.Walk until very shag...we even had night training with our field packs.I dont even know how many kilometres we walked on thursday itself with our field packs....Everybody's shoulders were aching rather than their legs....
I remembered that the sky was pretty night with lotsa of stars.....all of us were pretty amazed to see so many stars in the night in singapore as most of us had this mentality that in Singapore its impossible to see nice constellation of stars.Our Sergeant told us that actually singapore's Skies had lotsa of stars too similar to those in other countries its just that we are unable to see them because there are many street lights in singapore as a result making those stars barely visible,however if we used the night vision goggles we would be able to see them....having heard that it made me felt like buying a night vision binoculars to see if its true or not...hahaha
We had to walked another 4km with all our stuffs to our ,resting point for the night, in the dark.So having reached our resting point and settled down we went to sleep almost instaneously....But i think i am damn bloody unlucky....some asshole beside me was snoring throughout the whole night,i could barely sleep properly....but whats WORST was the guy beside that asshole was also snoring and their snoring was in an alternate pattern so throughout the whole night i heard snoring all the way....At one point of time i even sat up and went to sit by the sight and look at the sky....Bloody Assholes...
On the 2nd Day of our field camp orientation we dig trenches....we were split into different groups to dig trenches....1 group dig dig dig and guess what happened? they discovered a tombstone!!! Many people were astounded....as for me i was pondering why a tombstone is being buried underground one??? Anyone knows?? As for that group that discovered the tombstone,they informed the sergeant and immediately they cover up the tombstone and joined other groups....
Then on Saturday we had our 12km Route march.We walked from our camp to Pasir Ris Park and then back....it was much more fun walking outside the camp area rather then rounds and rounds inside camp....I happened to walk beside this "Flower Flower Boy"
in other words "Hua Hua Gong Zi" everytime he see a girl he would whistle.Then there was a point of time there were 4 girls were waving then he go wave back!! DIAOZ!!Then our sergeant scolded and asked to behave ourselves....Bloody hell sabo us kena scolding!! hahaha
Something very unfortunate happened to one of my platoon mate....Just last week he was kinda in a depression state because of some girl and because of it he didnt bath for 6 days!!! I couldnt understand the rational behind it but i didnt asked him either because i was afrad it would make him feel sad again....and just this week his father passed away....It must had really been a tough 2 weeks for him...Hopes he would recover from all these emotional wounds....
