Hello...

Last week was considered a slack week because i had 3 nights out and i booked out on friday instead of saturday.Had my demolition lesson and test which was part of my cross training....Demolition very interesting but too bad its not my vocation.

My dog had been hospitalised since last monday because of it's toe infection....Initially, the vet said there might be possibility that my dog would have to amputate the infected toe if it's condition doesnt improved during observation....luckily 2 days later after stiching the wound improved....Well i believe some of my friends know that my dog is very sensitive when it comes to it's hands....even cutting of it's nails is a problem....so when the vet had to bandage the wound, it took 4 guys to pin him down because the vet could start bandaging...didnt know my dog so strong sia! hahaha

Last night went out for dinner together with poly friends...met up at bugis around 8.30pm and had dinner at phin's steakhouse. We stayed in there and chatted for a long time, think until abt 11.30pm then we leave the restaurant.Everybody were sharing their National Service stories and sharing of techniques on malingering!! haha thats an important topic ^_^ after which we went to catch a movie at The Cathay.

Watched Miami Vice...to me it was a pretty boring movie only the ending can see alittle action thats all, other than that its just plain boring to me...Well also ran into Kah Wah my platoonmate....we watched the same movie and he was just seating directly behind me!! bah!! such concidence...the movie ended at about 2.30am then as i was walking out of cathay ran into Jack,he is also from my company and he used to be my neighbour....

Shared a cab with Dom and during the journey he was telling me about his life in civil defense....it seems that Civil Defense training is tough man and they focus alot on the physical aspect....well well till then....

Hey!

Went to Tekong again this week for 2 days for our navigation test.We our split into different groups in random and i was so unlucky....was in a group whereby there was noone i know, not even someone from my own platoon, makes the whole walk so boring...cant believe i actually walked 20km or so,over the 2 days barely talking to anyone...

Once again didnt managed to see any wild boar!! Grrr but guess what? Managed to see fireflies!!! WeeuuuWeet!! my first encounter with fireflies....looks cool man!!They are like like the size of sparks green in colour flying around....but they fly like very slow leh but still very nice!! haha We were like navigating our way then suddenly we just stopped and all gathered around the bushes where the fireflies were....At first 1 guy suddenly stopped walking and squatted down we thought he wasnt feeling well and coulnt continued then all went towards him to see how he was doing, in the end he was there trying to catch fireflies!! hahaha what a kuku

Basically last week the main highlight was the navigation test in tekong so nothing much really happened afterall the next week alot ppl will be moving out of camp to their various vocation to attend their respective courses...hope it will be a good and slacking week ahead!! hahaha ^_^

Hello

Yeah! I am officially completed my basic military training and will be proceeding towards the next stage of my national service as a private.Since it was the last week of B.M.T we didnt really had much activities, only had a Standard Obstacle Course Test and Basic Airborne Selection and the 24km route march....But despite these activites what was really on my mind was the namelist of ppl who would be staying on in Commando. It seems like out of 234 people, they are gonna cut down to only 175 while the rest would be posted out....

There are 15 people in my bunk , and 6 out of the figure are on the posting out list ,2 of them which are already confirm while the other 4 are still pending...It really sucks!!!Imagine having been together for 3 months and going through all the tough times together and now we will be seperated...But J.T.B Just too Bad,Gotta Suck it up.......I really have no idea what to say either, its like you have gone through tougher training than those in other vocation ,and in the end come to find that u are being posted out....Many of those who are posted out are sad, afterall the 3 months have really bonded us close....Now those who are posted out have this mentality that they are weak and useless....guess this is the flaw in the system....Well i will say that being able to complete the Commando B.M.T has already proved that u are a cut above the rest and the posting out is just the bitch part of the S.A.F system so its better not to brood over the matter ^_^

Yesterday was my 24km route march and passing out parade....after the route march, my O.C was very pleased with us because noone fall out of the walk and this is the first time noone ever fall out of the walk compare to the other batches that he had lead before our batch ....
Having Completed our B.M.T , now we will be split into our different vocation and we will start our cross training already. So now that the platoon will barely be together that often, guess i would like to note down our water parade slogan =>

Water Parade Slogan:
Strike Like Lightning
Roar Like Thunder
For Honour & Glory
Commando

Platoon 3 Warcry:
Early Morning Late At Night
Platoon 3 Out To Fight
All United Act as 1
We Will Win The War This Time
We, Will Win The War
We, Will Win The War
We, Will Win The War,Platoon 3
We, Will Win The War
We, Will Win The War
We, Will Win The War,Platoon 3
Strike Like Lightning
Roar Like Thunder
For Honour & Glory
Commando !

The Next Stage of training will start real soon....Hopefully everything will go well...^_^

Hello!

Havent been updating for sometime...well for about the past 3 weeks it had been pretty hectic....so when i was at home felt pretty lazy to do any posting....

During my field camp,it was rather tough for me....because i had heat rash...never knew how painful and irritating it was until i gotten it....Imagine needles poking u whenever ur skin is dry or ur body temperature increases and i meant like thousand of needles poking you....Geesh that feeling will make u high!! hahaha

During my stay in tekong, some of my friends saw wild boars!! I didnt had the luck to actually see a real life wild boar....my friends told me they saw a family of them, some bigger in size while some smaller, obviously the father and mother and so on....then they saw them crossing the track in the forest...sounds very cute like that but too bad didnt had the luck to see it....

Well now that the end of Basic Military Training is near, whats left is only my Standard Obstacle Course Test and the 24km Route March....after which i will Pass Out on Saturday!!! Well we were told after passing out , the tempo of the training will be lowered...i wonder how true would that be sia....

Well guess i will just make it a short entry...till then take care ^_^
