Hows the new blogskin ? Decided to make a new one since its been a long time since i last changed and furthermore not feeling too well to do other stuff...Dunno why suddenly go fever....Well here to post some updates over the past week or so
Had Completed my 72km route march already....Its an experience i wont forget man...Just shortly after we set off on our walk , it started to rain and the ground started to become wet....Since the sole of my boots had kinda a small opening all thanks to the brunei trip,water seep through and both my insole & feet got wet...Despite constant powdering to keep my feet dry and changing of socks my feet still got wet...By probably the 30++km my feet was all wrinkled up and blister started forming already....wah the pain was something i had never experience before....its like theres a bruise feeling and the same time with the effects of those blister every small step was painful...When i try to widen and hasten my footsteps...probably by the 10th step my leg would feel numb from the pain and it totally cant move...so had no choice had to take small steps and limp all the way for the 40km or so....As we were walking to and fro East Coast Park....there were friendly strangers who cheers us on and even those aunties that work at Jumbo Seafood...they cheered us on as we walked past the restaurant while the diners decides to take some photos of us...Those photographers made us feel like we are exhibits sia...I recalled when we walked past 2 guys...they were talking and i overheard them saying "i think they are from tekong one, bmt" wah heard liao also feel like what the hell sia...We go through tougher shit , train longer than them , and we walked 72km which no others ever does and in the end we are mistaken to be from BMTC....Idiots can even differentiate...NO offense but if everyone of us were from BMTC we would had easily gotten into OCS already....well enough of this...during the journey there were several group of malays young punks who try to provoke us....but we didnt bother about them after most of them are lame...there were those which when we walk past , they would shout "ORD LOR" hahaha that was a sucky feeling!! All of us cant wait for that day to come sia....
After we were done with the march, we were back in camp preparing for our Red Beret Presentation already...The day everyone had been waiting for...Well everyone invited their loves one which includes their buddies , girlfriend, and parents...Well as for me i got noone much to invite either so just asked my parents and granny....in fact not really keen on my parents to be there....only was keen for my granny to be present....my mum also didnt turn up because she was feeling too good...she felt sorry but i didnt mind her not being there afteralll it didnt really matter to me...I recalled telling 1 person that i wanted to get the Red Beret so that i could make my parents proud , because it seems whenever they tell others that i was in commando there was this look of joy in them, but i guess it doesnt really matter now...because i dont care anymore...
Just last week went for SAF day parade rehearsal....there were other unit that was involved in it too that includes Airforce to Navy....During the rehearsal , Officers from other units instead of giving comments to their own respective units, they were all surrounding us giving us all their god damn opinions....Guess the expectations of us are higher...Sucks to be among the best aint it....Have to constantly live up to other's expectation and thats a fuck up feeling....we earned so hard for our beret and why are we getting bitch by those pricks...RIDICULOUS....Well of course there were a few who were nice and talk to us nicely....hahaha
Last Night went to Ritz Carlton for dinner with campmates....Its a very nice hotel man no wonder its considered a 6-star hotel....But the exterior looks like some old office like that.....Went to eat their buffet which cost $75.75....Get to eat lobster,crayfish,crabs and sashimi and of course the chocolates and their ulitmate chocolate cake was awesome!! SUPER CHOCOLATEY!!!! wah woot....despite having my fever i was still able to enjoy the chocolate to the max man...chocolate rocks!! hehehe
