Last Sunday 26 August 2007....The day whereby i actually ran 21km!!! Never have i ever thought i would run such long distance...nonetheless was force to.Hahaha The thing i was worried before the run was that i didnt do much build up or training for this run due to Army Open House.So i didnt run for 1 mth....and the last ran i had was only 12km....then suddenly jumped to 21km already....hahaha i knew i was gonna be screwed especially when i always have a problem with sustaining for long period of time as my muscles have really low endurance...Sad Case
So on 26 August 2007 ,me and my campmates have to wake up at 0200hours to prepare to set off for the Army Half Maranthon 21km Sheares Bridge Run...was really sleepy because only slept for about 4 hours....couldnt get to sleep because they made us sleep at 1900 hours the day before..thats nuts man...who on earth sleeps so early one...stupid management....
So we reached the floating stadium at esplanade at around 0315 hours and we just hang loose there doing nothing until 0500++ hours or so....The Run kicked off at 0530hours...I must say i was really fascinated with the crowd, never have i ever ran in such huge numbers before in my entire life...The run was fun and interesting as u can see all sort of people of all ages running...they actually woke up so early to run!!! CHAMPIONS!! hahaha Xiao ben and me ran together so that we have each other as company throughout the run...as we ran we realised that there are alot of female runners...and they run fast....guess most people would probably picture some tomboyish girl since she can run so fast....but thats wrong!!that are actually girls!!!and they can actually run so fast and the number of female participants....In fact i am surprised with the amount of people who love running so much that they joined this half maranthon....sth which i never knew...
After about 4-5km , but ankle and sole of my feet started to hurt probably because of my shoes, which has yet to be seasoned..in fact its my first time running in it because my old shoe in unservicable anymore...but still managed to sustain until about 16km whereby cramps start to come...it started with the right calf , then later the left calf the eventually to both thigh....at the end basically my legs are all cramped up....hahahaha damn retarded man,cant help laughing although it was painful because i kinda expected this would happened....but luckily xiao ben was there all the time to accompany instead of finishing the run himself...THANKS XIAO DI aka Kozou!! hahaha * Integrity *
After everything ended,we went home respectively before meeting at Takashimaya to have Coca Buffet...After such a long run, we need to replenish energy, so what can be better than a buffet???? HAHA!! Those who went are Jefferson aka Punky, Ziggy , Xiao Di and Sneaky...The Buffet proved to be awesome!!!Eat Eat Eat all the meat and different type of meat balls...and the soup was tasty.....Tom Yam Base was great!!

After the meal we went for a movie at cineleisure....we decide to watch Secret...the movie directed acted and written by jay chou himself...I must say the movie was very good with adequate among of comedy and the ability to make ur heart goes tingling away...A very very good movie...Think when the DVD is out i will go get it again...hahaha the thing about us was that it was pretty gay....can u imagine 5 guys going for a romance movie?To make it worse the theatre was a really small one , probably for couples one and to top it up we had 2 set of lovers combo!!!hahaha how gay can u get??? The movie was able to get to me or make me feel what the main actor was going through....just like how the anime suzuka was able to do so which made it my favourite anime of all time!! hehehe
After the movie punky had to make a move because he has to go attend his cousin's 21st birthday party...leaving the 4 of us stranded not knowing where to go....in the end we went to esplanade....Ate at The Cookie Museum. Tell u the stuff there are heavenly!!! i had one hella chocolatey time!!!I even had a dream came true... i actually drank chocolate!!!WEEEUUWWEET!!That place is really interesting...they have cookies which u never hear before....have u ever heard of nasi lemak cookie??? Well u can find it there!! hahaha what even more interesting...1st timers there get to have a free cookie tasting session!!!
